Though Rihanna‘s Grammy snub upset some, the unceasing
accomplishments and career milestones continue to rack up for the songstress.
Thanks to her philanthropic efforts, the Bajan singer-mogul has been
named Humanitarian of the Year by the esteemed Harvard University.
Full story below…
Unpacking their reason for bestowing the honor on the star, Harvard
explained:
“Rihanna has charitably built a state-of- the-art center for oncology
and nuclear medicine to diagnose and treat breast cancer at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados.”
Say what we do about Rih’s “abilities,” there’s no denying her
philanthropical strides.
Named after her grandmother and grandfather, Ms. Fenty’s Clara Lionel Foundation works vigorously to help and improve
the quality of life in global communities, in the fields of health, education,
arts, and culture.
Kudos to her.
