Prince William and
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, mingled with acting royalty as they joined the
great and good of Hollywood at the 70th annual British Academy Film Awards at
London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night. Kate, 35, (centre) dazzled in a
striking off-shoulder floral gown by Alexander McQueen as she joined glamorous
leading ladies (L-R) Thandie Newton, Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, Naomie Harris
and Amy Adams on the red carpet for the biggest night in British film. La La
Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, is widely expected to replicate its
previous success at the Golden Globes and the SAGs by sweeping the board in all
major categories at the BAFTAs.
