Ladies get ready for Kanye Cosmetics!
The rapper turned designer is now setting his sights on beauty, and the move will put him in direct competition with his wife and sister in laws … namely Kylie.
West filed an application to launch Donda – a collection of perfumes, lotions and makeup named after his late mother who passed in 2007. According to TMZ, his application is still in the processing stages.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian co-own an extensive line of hair products, while Kylie Jenner has her uber popular Kylie brand of lip kits and other items that regularly sell out.
The news however should not be surprising to the family since West announced his plan for Donda, which is also the name of his creative content company, in February of last year.
Basically, he wants to be the next Martha Stewart with a slew of lifestyle products as well as ventures in education, medical research and transportation.
