Former President Barack Obama jetted off to the French Polynesia for a month — without his long-suffering wife, Michelle Obama.
Still meddling in U.S. politics, Obama flew to Hawaii on Tuesday where, hours later, a federal judge temporarily blocked President Trump’s second executive order travel ban. Supposedly Obama was in his native Hawaii to play a round of golf.
On Wednesday, Obama’s plane landed on the island of Tahiti in the French Polynesia, where he is expected to stay for a full month at Marlon Brando’s privately owned retreat. His wife was not on the plane.
According to a local TV channel Tahiti Nui TV, Obama will stay at Brando’s resort where a night’s stay starts at $2,150.
Tongues are wagging in political circles that the Obamas will announce their divorce in the coming months.
