Now, this is what 47 looks like! Happy birthday, Mariah Carey!
Carey is spending her 47th birthday chilling beachside alongside her friends, family and new boo, Bryan Tanaka. Yep, we are absolutely jealous.
In a photo, posted on Tanaka’s Instagram page, the diva can be seen basking in the glorious sun while in a white bathrobe. And of course, the mother of two made sure to pair the robe with a string of diamonds around her neck.
“Starting the anniversary festivities in a relaxing chic environment,” Bryan captioned the flick.
While we patiently anticipate some bikini pics to hit the Web, Carey was at least kind enough to post this adorable photo her opening up some anniversary gifts. “Let the anniversary festivities begin,” wrote the singer.
The multi-Grammy Award-winning songstress has always been open about calling her birthdays anniversaries. She told Out magazine back in 2014, “First of all, don’t round up. If you’re going to round, round down! I don’t count years, but I definitely rebuke them – I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life, darling.”
