A side by side look at President Donald Trump and Barack Obama’s inauguration crowds

Donald Trump’s inauguration crowds aren’t exactly huge.
While the ceremony is always filled with extravagance and scores of people, it appeared the incoming President saw significantly smaller crowds than Presidents past.
Trump on Friday was sworn in as the nation's 45th President on the United States outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., with crowds failing to fill the grassy area of the National Mall until minutes before the swearing-in ceremony.
According to reports, the number of buses that applied for parking permits for the 2017 inauguration was a meager 200, while in 2009 there were more than 3,000 parking requests.
