Tamar Braxton Suffers Miscarriage

Tamar Braxton revealed during Thursday night’s episode of Braxton Family Values that she suffered a miscarriage.

The news was kept quiet until the emotional revelation chronicled on the WEtv reality television series. During the segment, the songstress opened up to her sister Toni Braxton about the tragic occurrence.

“You know, I didn’t tell nobody because it was very very new,” she said. “Well, maybe like a week before I went to Atlanta, I found out I was pregnant.”

The singer, who shares one son with husband Vincent Herbert, also dished on going through IVF. “Going through IVF is not easy, you know,” she said to her husband later in the episode. “The mental part, trying to stay calm, trying to stay positive when the stakes are so high and the instant weight gain and body change throws you completely off but then it’s the other side of it, like, ‘Oh, my gosh, it could be.'”

Following the episode, the singer wrote on Twitter: “Thanks for watching guys!! Tonight was a hard one…. I love u all so much.”

Braxton made headlines earlier this month after blasting a woman claiming Vincent was the father of her child.

Tamar posted a long message on Instagram rebutting every allegation a woman named “Paris Herbert” made about her 7-year-old daughter being Vince’s biological child.

After Paris claimed via Instagram that the little girl was conceived the night before Braxton and Vince’s wedding, the former The Real co-host fired back with an essay. She suggested that the woman’s claims are not only incredibly bogus, but if they were true, the little girl “would be MINE as well.. she would be all over MY instagram, media outlets, pictures interviews etc.. because that’s the type of WOMAN I am.”

Tamar also tackled the real whereabouts of Vince the night before their 2008 wedding. According to the singer, “The night before we got married he was over TONI BRAXTON’s house!!!”

Fired Trump aide Michael Flynn wants immunity to testify on Russia allegations

President Donald Trump's ex-national security adviser, Michael Flynn, wants immunity to testify on alleged Russian election meddling, his lawyer says.

Robert Kelner says his client "has a story to tell", but needs to guard against "unfair prosecution".

Congress is investigating the allegations, with one senator warning of Kremlin "propaganda on steroids".

Mr Flynn was sacked in February after misleading the White House about his conversations with a Russian envoy.

His links to Russia are being scrutinised by the FBI and the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, as part of wider investigations into claims Moscow sought to help Donald Trump win the US presidential election, and into contacts between Russia and members of President Trump's campaign team.

"General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit," said his attorney, Robert Kelner, in a written statement.

He said he would not comment on his discussions with congressional panels conducting the investigation.

The lawyer said the media was awash with "unfounded allegations, outrageous claims of treason, and vicious innuendo".

"No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch-hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution," he said.

Three other former Trump aides, former campaign chief Paul Manafort and former advisers Roger Stone and Carter Page, have offered to testify without requesting immunity.

R&B Crooner John Legend Serenades Fans At a train station In London

John Legend fans got quite a treat on Wednesday morning when the singer decided to give a free concert in London.

The r&b crooner put on a show smack dab in the middle of the St. Pancras International train station, which by the looks of things, was the prefect hump day surprise.

While sitting at a grand piano in the station, John serenaded commuters with his classic ballads, “Ordinary People” and “All of Me.” In one video circling social media, the singer, clad in a beige coat, can be seen tickling the ivory while hundreds of fans surround him.

Chrissy Teigen’s husband did, however, give a little tease before the performance. He tweeted to his fans early Wednesday morning: “Arriving at London @StPancrasInt on @EurostarUK. Do they still have that piano there?”

American Airlines pilot dies on Dallas-Albuquerque flight

A pilot died on Wednesday during a flight from Dallas to Albuquerque, New Mexico, American Airlines have confirmed.

The Boeing 737-800 was two miles from landing when the captain declared a medical emergency, an Albuquerque airport spokesman confirmed.

"They landed without incident, taxied to the gate and were met by medical personnel," he told the Albuquerque Journal.

None of the passengers was injured.

American Airlines confirmed the pilot's identity as first officer William "Mike" Grubbs.

US media quoted airline spokeswoman Polly Tracey as saying: "We're taking care of first officer Grubbs' family and colleagues and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this time."

In 2015, an American Airlines pilot died in a medical emergency on an overnight flight from Phoenix to Boston.

The flight was safely diverted by the co-pilot to Syracuse, New York.

George Michael: Private funeral for singer

George Michael's funeral has taken place, three months after his sudden death at the age of 53.

His family said a "small, private ceremony" on Wednesday was attended by "family and close friends".

In the statement, they thanked his fans for "their many messages of love and support" following the funeral, thought to have been held in London.

Michael died of natural causes at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, on Christmas Day.

The riverside cottage became a focus for fans' grief in the days after he died, as did his home in Highgate, north London.

'That was like sticking a knife in her heart and twisting it. She didn't deserve it. She always tried to help me with the drugs. I rejected the help.' 

The former NBA star also confessed that 'she was disappointed' when she caught him using drugs in their own home in 2011.

'She knew I was doing cocaine the whole time after that. It was my drug of choice,' he added. 'I'm not going to say she accepted it because that would be the wrong word. Tolerated would be a better word.' 

'I was hiding it for a while, but then I got frustrated and was like, 'F**k it,' he admitted. 'I was in the man cave she had made for me and she caught me. 

'She was disappointed. So was I. The sad thing about it is, I don't know if I was disappointed because I was actually doing the drug or because she caught me.'

When asked if he regretted sharing his marriage on television, Lamar admitted it 'opened this gate up with other women who probably wouldn't have been interested in me.

'When I became Khloé Kardashian's man and on TV, it made me look more enticing. People who didn't even know basketball would approach me because they knew Lammy. 

'B***hes and THOTs came out of the woodwork. If there is one thing I regret when I was married, it was having multiple affairs with different women. That wasn't the stand-up thing to do. I wish I could have kept my d**k in my pants.' 

But the former NBA star insisted he wasn't on drugs or drunk when he suffered his near-fatal collapse at a Las Vegas brothel in October 2015.

He’s nice. He’s cool. I just want you to know because I just want to tell you stuff,'” Hart recalled his daughter telling him.

“I’m going to find [the boy],” joked the protective father.

On the other hand, he said he fears his daughter is a little too fast for her age.

“This is the first time I’m dealing with this, so it’s not like I have a ton of experience,” Hart told Menounos. “My mom had two boys. It was me and my brothers, so this is me dealing with a girl at a different level. I mean this is my heart. I don’t want to prohibit things, but she is a child, so you make sure she understands the parameters that she can and can’t do.”

He continued, “We’re living in different times, so the way you could prohibit things back in the day, it’s different now. The Internet gives kids access to anything and everything.

“Communication is extremely important, and that’s what my daughter and I have,” he said. “I love that. I laugh a lot at stuff at first, but then I give my dad speech. You can’t let them see you laugh.”

Police appeal after mother vanishes with two sons

Police have said they are concerned for the safety of a mother and her two sons who have gone missing.

Samantha Baldwin, 42, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, was last seen in Nottingham city centre on Monday.

She is believed to be with nine-year-old Louis Madge and six-year-old Dylan Madge, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The family has connections to Lincolnshire and Manchester and it is thought the mother and children may have travelled there.

At a news conference, Supt Rich Fretwell said detectives had carried out searches of properties, studied CCTV footage and employed number plate recognition technology.

He said: "We are seriously concerned for the welfare of all three of them.

"We need to find them as soon as possible to make sure they are safe and well."

Laptop cabin ban 'ineffective' says IATA

The US and UK ban on laptops in cabin baggage on certain flights will not be effective as a security measure, industry body IATA has said.

In a strongly-worded speech, IATA chief executive Alexandre de Juniac said the ban also creates "commercial distortions".

The US ban was brought in as an anti-terrorist precaution.

It covers inbound flights on airlines operating out of 10 airports in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

The British ban is similar but applies to different airlines. Airline passengers on 14 carriers are subject to the ban on inbound direct flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.

In his speech in Montreal, Mr de Juniac questioned the measures, saying: "Why don't the US and the UK have a common list of airports? How can laptops be secure in the cabin on some flights and not others... especially on flights originating at a common airport?"

He added: "The current measures are not an acceptable long-term solution to whatever threat they are trying to mitigate. Even in the short term it is difficult to understand their effectiveness. And the commercial distortions they create are severe."

Airlines affected by the ban include Emirates, Qatar, and Etihad.

US airlines have long argued that these carriers are unfairly subsidised by their governments, which the Gulf airlines deny.

Mr de Juniac said that IATA is "deeply concerned with political developments pointing to a future of more restricted borders and protectionism."

Trump signs order undoing Obama climate change policies

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order rolling back Obama-era rules aimed at curbing climate change.

The president said this would put an end to the "war on coal" and "job-killing regulations".

The Energy Independence Executive Order suspends more than half a dozen measures enacted by his predecessor, and boosts fossil fuels.

Business groups have praised the Trump administration's move but environmental campaigners have condemned it.

Outside the White House, a few hundred protesters gathered to vent their displeasure at the executive order.

Inside, the president was flanked by coal miners as he signed the order, saying: "My administration is putting an end to the war on coal.

"With today's executive action I am taking historic steps to lift the restrictions on American energy, to reverse government intrusion and to cancel job-killing regulations."

During the campaign, he vowed to pull the US out of the Paris climate dealagreed in December 2015.

Article 50: May signs letter that will trigger Brexit

Theresa May has signed the letter that will formally begin the UK's departure from the European Union.

Giving official notice under Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, it will be delivered to European Council president Donald Tusk later.

In a statement in the Commons, the prime minister will then tell MPs this marks "the moment for the country to come together".

It follows June's referendum which resulted in a vote to leave the EU.

Mrs May's letter will be delivered at 12:30 BST on Wednesday by the British ambassador to the EU, Sir Tim Barrow.

The prime minister, who will chair a cabinet meeting in the morning, will then make a statement to MPs confirming the countdown to the UK's departure from the EU is under way.

Gunfight Involving Rapper Fetty Wap Leaves 3 People Shot in New Jersey

Troubled rapper Fetty Wap was on the scene of a gun battle outside an all-night deli in New Jersey early Sunday.

Gunfire erupted after the 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was robbed of his gold chains and wallet outside an all-night deli in his how town of Paterson, NJ at 5 a.m.

According to gossip tabloid TMZ.com, three people were shot during the ensuing gun battle. The victims were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Fetty Wap was uninjured during the gunfight.

Police are investigating the incident, but no one in Fetty Wap’s camp is talking.

Google Home to be launched in UK in April

Google Home, the search giant's smart assistant that rivals Amazon's Alexa, will be launched in the UK in April.

Google said it had "hidden a few British treats" in the device.

The speaker and assistant, which launched in the US in November, is part of a growing trend to make artificial intelligence available in homes.

The firm is also launching its own wi-fi service in the UK, in an attempt to solve the "frustration when wireless connectivity fails at home".

Like Amazon's Echo, Home can answer basic queries as well as control smart home devices, such as lights.

It can also help with translations, offer weather and traffic updates and deliver news updates from publications such as the BBC, the Guardian and the Financial Times.

"A combination of our natural language processing, machine learning and voice-recognition expertise allow users to interact naturally with the assistant," said Suveer Kothari, director of product planning at Google in a blog post.

"And of course, we've hidden a few British treats for you to discover. Just try asking Google Home about its hobbies or favourite foods."

The US version of Google Home proved controversial when it began playing information about the new film, Beauty and the Best, unprompted.

Google apologised and denied that it was an advertisement, saying it was experimenting with "new ways to surface unique content".

Google Home will be available in stores such as Argos, John Lewis, Dixons and Maplin from 6 April, and will cost £129.

Google Wi-fi will be available at the same time and will also cost £129.

Cyclone Debbie: 'Monster' storm makes landfall in Australia

A powerful cyclone carrying winds of up to 263km/h (163 mph) has made landfall in Queensland, Australia.

Cyclone Debbie, a category four storm, has left at least 45,000 homes without power and damaged buildings, although it is too early to say how many.

PM Malcolm Turnbull told parliament he had activated a disaster response plan.

More than 25,000 people were urged to evacuate their homes ahead of predictions the cyclone would be Queensland's most damaging since 2011.

The system is expected to remain for several hours after crossing the coast between Bowen and Airlie Beach.

A seven-year-old boy whose dying wish was to be buried with his mother so she could look after him in Heaven has died peacefully in hospital.

Filip Kwansy lost his mother Agnieszka to cancer in 2011 but was himself diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia (JMML) in September last year.

After treatment failed, his dying wish was to be buried alongside his mother in her coffin, and his family launched an appeal to make it come true.

Filip died on Friday morning at London's Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, but the campaign raised £41,000, enough to fund the burial he had requested.

Now his father, Piotr Kwasny, 40, of Colchester, Essex has thanked the generous public for granting his boy his dying wish.

He said: 'My little boy has now gone, there will forever be an emptiness beside me and in my heart; but he will never be forgotten and he will always be loved.

'I really appreciate all the support from the public and from JustGiving which is going to enable me to fulfil Filip's wish of being put to rest next to his mother.'

Filip was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 1 - an accumulation of abnormal blood cells in the bone marrow - when he was two, from which he initially recovered.

But the treatment to cure the adorable boy of his most recent illness, including a stem cell transplant and chemotherapy, failed and the cancer spread to his intestines.

Filip, a former pupil at Friar Grove Primary School in Colchester, had been receiving only palliative care, to make him comfortable.

The family initially set out to raise £6,500 to fund Filip's burial wish of lying next to his mum, through a special Just Giving fundraising page, but they were overwhelmed when the amount hit the £40,000 mark.

As Piotr is ill with spina bifida (a gap in his spine), one kidney, diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure), he was unable to work, so was desperate to find the funds for his son.

United Airlines caught up in leggings row

United Airlines has been heavily criticised on social media after two girls were reportedly barred from flying for wearing leggings.

The incident happened on a flight from Denver to Minneapolis on Sunday morning, activist Shannon Watts said.

United said the girls were travelling on a special pass, for employees and their guests, which has a dress code.

It has since clarified that all regular, paying customers are welcome to wear leggings.

The girls were "United pass travellers", which are tickets for company employees or eligible dependents, it explained in a Twitter exchange on the issue.

"United pass travellers" are eligible for free or heavily discounted air travel.

Activist Shannon Watts tweeted about what happened to five girls when they tried to board a flight at Denver airport.

She said a United gate agent was "forcing" the girls, one of them aged 10, to change their clothes or wear dresses over the leggings.

She said three of the girls were allowed to fly after putting dresses over the top of their clothing, but two were prevented from boarding.
