Wendy Williams and her only son Kevin Hunter Jr. were spotted leaving Catch LA Seafood restaurant and lounge in Los Angeles over the weekend.
In 2015, Wendy opened up about her son’s nearly fatal battle with a synthetic marijuana addiction.
“So the most important thing that happened this summer, which was a life-changing thing for the Hunter family, is our son was made exposed to synthetic marijuana and he was exposed by a loved one who he looked up to,” Williams said.
She shared that she and husband Kevin Hunter sent their son out of the country to detox. The type of weed her son smoked was odorless and smokeless. So Wendy was unaware that Li’l Kev was hooked until he “went off the rails.”
The bible instructs parents to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” But the 12 Disciples couldn’t foresee that children might become addicts because they feel inferior to their wealthy, successful parents.
Or that a girl child might grow up to be a stripper or a lesbian because, even though both parents are in the home, they don’t bond with her because they have their own issues they’re struggling with.
Children are often led down the wrong path because they look up to others for the attention they crave from their parents.
Thank God everything worked out all right for Li’ Kev.
