Clinton Apologized to Obama for Losing the Election

Barack Obama Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton was reportedly so devastated over her loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 election, that President Obama had to urge her several times to concede to Trump.
In a new book, “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign”, written by Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen, Clinton called Trump and told him she would be “supportive of the country’s success.”
“And that means your success as president,” she added.
Clinton reportedly had a meltdown once she realized she had no path to the presidency during the Nov. 8 election.
Shortly afterwards, Clinton’s faithful aide Huma Abedin approached her and told her Obama was on the phone.
“It’s the president,” Abedin said.
Realizing she let the Obamas down, Clinton took the phone from Abedin and said, “Mr. President, I’m sorry.”
Obama campaigned hard for Clinton. He and his wife Michelle planned to live in a $24,000 a month home in the shadows of the White House. It would be like he never left the White House. But their hopes were shattered when Clinton lost.
The Obamas have been in Tahiti for nearly a month, pretending they never said they would stay in Washington.
Parnes and Allen’s book is on sale now at a bookstore near you.
