R. Kelly
is out here being triflin’ again … allegedly.
The Pied Piper is being accused of
having a sex cult in which he holds women against their will, gives them a list
of rules to follow and physically punishes them for insubordination. He tapes
their sexapades, dictates when they eat, bathe and use the restroom, and
completely brainwashes them.
The stories all seemingly start
the same way. Young women (some as young as 17!!), aspiring to be singers, meet
R. Kelly at a concert or studio. Kelly offers his services as a mentor and the
women think that have hit a major break. In a few cases, the parents were also
there during the meeting and gave the green light for Robert to help their
young daughters. But, soon after, things take a turn for the worse. The young
ladies all end up meeting with Kels and never returning to their parents. They
send sporadic message claiming to be OK, but it is evident things are far from
“OK”.
In one case, a mother became a
detective of sorts in an effort to find her 19-year-old daughter. And while she
found out the truth about Kelly’s palace of inappropriate behavior, nothing
could be done by the police because she is of legal age. She hasn’t seen her
daughter since December 2016 and when she did, this is how she described her.
“It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner
— it was horrible,” she said. “I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept
saying she’s in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don’t know
what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims
of cults. They can reprogram her. But I wish I could have stopped it from
happening.”
Three women who were former
members of R’s entourage spoke to Buzzfeed about the bizarre behavior they
witness from the Grammy-winning singer.
