Wendy Williams Faints on Air After Overheating in Halloween Costume: ‘That Was Not a Stunt’

Wendy Williams had a scary Halloween on Tuesday when she fainted during a live broadcast of her self-titled talk show.
The 53-year-old media personality was dressed as the iconic Statue of Liberty for her annual Halloween show, wearing a costume designed by Ceasar Galindo that included a green wig, sparkly crown, matching heels and long-sleeve sequin dress.
About 48 minutes into the broadcast — and after making it through the show’s Hot Topics segment, an interview with Jerry O’Connell and an “Ask Wendy” audience bit — Williams appeared behind a plastic podium, ready to kick off the “How You Doin’ Halloween Costume Contest.”
But while announcing the segment, Williams began slurring her words. She then slowed down and started swaying back and forth before stumbling backwards and catching herself.

Netflix CANCELS House of Cards, Says They Are ‘Deeply Troubled’ by Kevin Spacey Allegations

Kevin Spacey

Netflix has cancelled its web series House of Cards after star Kevin Spacey apologized to actor Anthony Rapp for molesting him 31 years ago.
The popular series will end after its upcoming sixth season, theblast.com reports. Netflix met with cast and crew in Baltimore on Monday to ensure that they feel safe and supported.
The network released a statement, saying, “Media Rights Capitol and Netflix are deeply troubled by last night’s news concerning Kevin Spacey. As previously scheduled, Spacey is not working on set at this time.”

Rapp, 46, said Spacey climbed on top of him following a private party at his home in 1986.
Spacey, 58, apologized to Rapp on Twitter.com for his “deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” which he claimed he couldn’t remember.
He also said, “I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose to live as a gay man.”
His half-apology sparked furor in the LGBT community which said the actor showed “bad timing” by linking homosexuality with child molestation.
British TV personality Sue Perkins blamed Spacey for hiding behind homosexuality to diminish the reaction to his predatory behavior.
“Well done Kev. You stay silent on your sexuality until the time comes when you can conflate it with an alleged sexual assault on a minor,” she tweeted on Monday. “In doing so, you simultaneously undervalue the horrific nature of the allegation and set back the LGBT+ community. Well done.”

Cardi B is Cruella de Vil for Halloween

Cardi B is Cruella de Vil

Cardi B dressed up as Disney character Cruella de Vil for a Halloween party in Brooklyn, NY on Monday. The 25-year-old rapper brought along a real Dalmatian puppy to add realism to her 101 Dalmations costume.
Cardi B is Cruella de Vil

The Bronx native is best known for her quirky summer hit “Bodak Yellow”. But she is struggling to deliver another hit to put her on par with platinum-selling rappers such as Nicki Minaj and Li’l Kim.
Until then, Bardi is compared to other one hitters like Iggy Azaleaand Dej Loaf.
Speaking of Nicki, according to washed up rapper Joe Budden, the Barbie was not aware that Cardi would be on the Migos track “Motor Sport” with her.
Budden claims the idea to add Cardi to the track came from music producer Kanye West.
On Monday’s Everyday Struggles episode, Budden insisted that Cardi was not originally on the track.
He points to the “sonic difference” in Cardi’s vocals as proof that she was added to the track as an afterthought.
It’s irrelevant because many believe the track is garbage. So the hunt for Bardi’s 2nd hit single continues.

Michelle Williams revealed to the world on Wednesday that she was once suicidal.
During an appearances on CBS’s The Talk, the singer admitted that she considered taking her own life during the height of the group’s success. “I’m in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression,” Williams said.
According to the pop star, she struggled with depression from age 13, but it wasn’t until her 30’s that she came to terms with it. “I think at the age of 25, had I had a name to what I was feeling at the time, I would have disclosed that ‘I’ve been suffering from depression.'”
She continued, “When I disclosed it to our manager [Beyonce’s dad, Mathew Knowles] at the time, bless his heart, he was like, ‘You all just signed a multimillion-dollar deal. You’re about to go on tour. What do you have to be depressed about?'”
Williams then confessed that the depression, which she first chalked up to being tired, got “to the point where I was suicidal… and wanted out.”
Following the singer’s public confession, she took to Twitter to thank fans and the talk show for their support. “Thank you @TheTalkCBS for being a safe place to talk about #depression #mentalhealthawareness!!” she wrote. “Don’t be afraid to reach out for help!”

Celtics’ Gordon Hayward Suffers Dislocated Ankle in Home Opener Against Cavs

Gordon Hayward

Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward suffered a gruesome ankle injury during Tuesday’s home opener against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hayward, 27, was just 5 minutes into his team debut when he went down.
Hayward dislocated his left ankle after landing awkwardly on his leg halfway through the 1st quarter with the Celtics up by 3 points. It was later determined that the 6’8″, former Utah Jazz star broke his left tibia as well.
“Oh my goodness, Hayward broke his leg. Hayward has broken his leg. Hayward has broken his leg,” said sports announcer Kevin Harlan. His stunned colleague, Reggie Miller, added “This is unbelievable.”
The injury happened right in front of the Cavs bench as the players and fans reacted emotionally.
Former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, who made his Cavs debut on Tuesday, dropped to one knee on the court while team doctors stabilized Hayward’s leg.
Dwyane Wade
The ghastly scene was reminiscent of Paul George‘s leg injury during a 2014 Team USA scrimmage.
LeBron visited Hayward in the locker room and other Cavs players sent their well-wishes to Hayward.
“It’s tough. I’ve seen a few injuries in my career, and I’ve had a few,” said Kyrie Irving, who started in his first game in a Celtics uniform. “Probably two of the worst ones I’ve been in the game watching — one was [George] at USA, and this one tonight. It’s not a great sight to see, but you gotta pick yourself up. Just keep on fighting, man. We understand that [Hayward], God willing, will be fine, and we’re going to continue to pray for him and be there for him as best we can.”
The Cavs won the game by a score of 102-99.

Father prevented from donating kidney to son due to multiple probation violations

AJ Dickerson

A story about a little boy who is in dire need of a kidney transplant is tugging at heart strings. Little A.J. Dickerson was born without a working kidney. The premie spent the first 10 months of his life in neonatal intensive care.
For two years A.J. has been dependent on tube feeding and daily dialysis to keep him alive.
According to his mother, Carmelia Burgess, A.J.’s health is failing and he needs a kidney transplant “as soon as possible” to save his life.
Complicating the story even further is the boy’s ex-con father, Anthony Dickerson, who is a perfect fit for a kidney donation, but he can’t stay out of prison long enough to donate a kidney to his son.
Dickerson was released from prison earlier this year — and he went through pre-op procedures to donate his kidney — only to go right back into prison for violating his probation.
Emory hospital has since declined to perform the complex operation due to Dickerson’s multiple probation violations, according to WGCL-TV’s Karyn Greer.
Dickerson is a repeat felon with an extensive criminal rap sheet that includes armed robbery and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of multiple felonies.
After Burgess took her story to the local news media, Emory hospital agreed to perform the surgery IF Dickerson can stay out of jail for three months (January 2018).
According to the AJC.com, Emory hospital even requested an early release from jail for Dickerson to perform the necessary blood work and other procedures for the Oct. 3 operation.
“If Mr. Dickerson could be escorted to Emory for blood work and a pre-operative appointment tomorrow, September 29, we will be able to continue with the scheduled surgery,” an Emory official said in the letter dated Sept. 28.
But Dickerson was not released from jail until October 2 — too late to perform blood work and other pre-op for such a complex surgery that was scheduled for the next day.
Not to mention surgery as complex as a kidney transplant would require at least 2 teams of doctors and nurses — one team to remove the kidney from Dickerson and the other team to transplant the kidney into A.J.
It takes time to put such teams together. It simply can not be done in one day.
A.J.’s doctors are better qualified than news reporters to determine whether A.J. can survive until January for his operation.

Hillary Clinton, Obamas Condemn Longtime Democratic Donor Harvey Weinstein After Sex Assault Accusations

Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama condemned disgraced Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein on Tuesday, marking their first public comments on the matter since reports of his alleged predatory behavior broke five days ago.
“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein,” Clinton said in a statement through her spokesman Nick Merrill. “The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”
A statement from Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama on Tuesday evening similarly expressed disgust at Weinstein’s reported actions and praised those who came forward.
“Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein,” the statement said. “Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status. We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture — including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect — so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future.”
Both statements made no mention of Weinstein’s sizable donations to the Clinton and Obama war chests.
Shortly after the Obamas’ announcement, Democratic leadership disavowed Weinstein as well.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat from Weinstein’s home state of New York, said on Twitter Tuesday evening he was sending donations from Weinstein to charities based in the state.
“What Mr. Weinstein did was awful. Sending his donations to NY orgs doing crucial work for survivors & fams, @SafeHorizon @sffny & @cvtcnyc,” Schumer tweeted.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi issued a statement calling on accountability for “every man who disrespects and attacks women.”
“The news of Harvey Weinstein’s countless assaults on women and the clear efforts to intimidate his victims into silence are shocking,” Pelosi’s statement read. “His despicable actions violate every standard of acceptable behavior.”
Weinstein is a longtime associate of the Clintons and a major Democratic Party donor who bundled funds for the party’s political campaigns, including supporting both of Clinton’s presidential bids. Weinstein was also a bundler — someone who gathers donations from others into large sums — for the Obama-Biden 2012 effort.
The allegations against Weinstein have renewed a debate about sexual harassment in the workplace and drawn attention to Clinton, the Democrats’ 2016 standard-bearer who made the treatment of women a key plank of her presidential campaign.
Representatives for the former secretary of state and former President Bill Clinton had previously not responded to requests for comment about Weinstein, whose ties to the Clintons go back years, from the Clinton presidency to the former first lady’s successful campaign for Senate.
Clinton spoke in California Monday night as part of her book tour and did not address the allegations, nor was she asked about them during the 90-minute event.
The office of former Vice President Joe Biden declined to comment.

Democrats disavow

Many Democratic office-holders quickly repudiated Weinstein, with some going so far as to send donations given by Weinstein to charity.
Clinton’s former running mate, Virginia Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine, said on CNN Tuesday morning that people should condemn Weinstein and said he anticipated Clinton would say something eventually.
Kaine noted Clinton has spoken out about sexual harassment often. During the campaign, Clinton spoke out about the issue and went after President Donald Trump over the allegations of sexual assault against him. Trump pushed back by touting similar allegations against her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Early in the campaign, the former secretary of state was asked about some of those accusations and her own assertions that victims who allege assault should be believed. In the context of allegations against her husband, Clinton said, “I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence.”
Clinton’s condemnation Tuesday came after years of links between the Clintons, Weinstein and the Democratic Party.
In 2015, the Clintons rented a home next to Weinstein in the Hamptons, and Weinstein served as a connector between Hollywood stars and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.
Weinstein raised about $1.5 million from 1990-2016, according to data from the campaign finance-tracking Center for Responsive Politics, and was involved in fundraisers for Clinton’s effort, some of which she headlined.
Prior to Tuesday’s announcement, longtime Hillary Clinton aides were confused by the former secretary of state’s silence on the issue, questioning — in private — why she had not weighed in at all.
The Obamas’ ties with Weinstein were significant as well. Besides supporting Obama’s 2012 presidential bid as a bundler and maintaining his role in the Democratic Party, Weinstein appeared at the White House several times for formal and informal events, and the Obamas’ eldest daughter, Malia, interned at the Weinstein Company.
At a White House event for student films in 2013, first lady Michelle Obama credited Weinstein for making the event happen and praised him as a wonderful person and a good friend, and Weinstein was one of many guests at a star-studded White House birthday party for Obama in 2016.
Like Clinton, the Obamas have repeatedly addressed and condemned sexual harassment and assault.
Michelle Obama delivered a scathing speech last October, attacking Trump for having “bragged about sexually assaulting women,” in reference to the infamous Access Hollywood tape.

Bombshell allegations

A bombshell report in The New York Times detailed decades of sexual harassment by Weinstein, and just three days after its publication, Weinstein was fired by the company he founded.
On Tuesday, The New Yorker published a major story in which several women alleged sexual assault by Weinstein. Through his representative, Sallie Hofmeister, Weinstein denied “any allegations of non-consensual sex.”
The reports have put Democrats under pressure to disavow Weinstein and return or donate contributions from him to charity.
Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy, for example, said in a CNN interview on Sunday that Democrats should give any money they received from Weinstein back.

Las Vegas Gunman Shot at Security Guard Before Opening Fire on Festival Crowds

An injured person is tended to in the intersection of Tropicana Ave. and Las Vegas Boulevard after a mass shooting at a country music festival nearby on Oct. 2, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Credit: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)
Stephen Paddock shot a security guard before opening fire on concertgoers in Las Vegas last weekend, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said. The guard was investigating an alarm signaling that a door had been left open on the same floor as Paddock’s room.
Paddock shot Jesus Campos in the leg, injuring him at 9:59 p.m. on October 1, according to Lombardo.
At 10:05 p.m, Paddock shot numerous rounds into the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Festival from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, authorities have said. He continued firing for about nine to 11 minutes.
Paddock’s final shots were fired at 10:15 p.m., according to a police timeline. Authorities do not yet know what made him stop shooting, Lombardo said. By the time officers entered the room, Paddock was dead from a self-inflicted gun shot wound.
The detail reflects a change in the shooting timeline police had earlier provided. Authorities had previously said they believed Campos drew Paddock’s attention away from firing out the window, and that Paddock didn’t fire any further shots after wounding the guard.
“What we have learned is Mr. Campos was encountered by the suspect prior to his shooting to the outside world,” Lombardo said.
Investigators are still piecing together evidence left behind in the hotel room and probing Paddock’s background to determine why the retired accountant committed the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
Lombardo said police have found “no evidence to show that there was a second shooter.”

Kylie Jenner's Pregnancy 'Definitely Wasn't Planned' But She Is ‘Stoked’

Kylie Jenner pregnant Travis Scott

The baby of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is prepping for her own bundle of joy. Kylie Jenner, who turned 20 on August 10, is at least four months pregnant with boyfriend Travis Scott’s child. Multiple insiders reveal to Us that when she first found out, the beauty mogul was weighing her options and turned to mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian West (currently expecting her third child with husband Kanye West via surrogate) for guidance. “It definitely wasn’t planned,” says one source
‘Goosebumps’ rapper Scott and Jenner have been dating for just five months, so although one insider says “the family loves him” and another adds he’s “thrilled to become a dad,” Jenner ultimately “had to decide if she was prepared, with or without his involvement.”
In the end, it was her “incredible support system” and the fact that “she lives a block from all of her family” that made the choice “easy,” says an insider. “Kylie’s take is that for everyone in her family, children have only made their lives better.”

Although one source does reveal that “very traditional” dad Caitlyn Jenner is concerned her daughter is “too young to have a baby right now,” the beauty mogul “feels more prepared than ever to be a mom.”

O.J. Simpson Enjoys Post-Prison Life in $1.8M Las Vegas Mansion

OJ Simpson house
Disgraced former NFL star and ex-convict O.J. Simpson is spending his post-prison life in a $1.8 million mansion inside a gated golf and tennis community just miles from the Las Vegas strip.

Simpson, 70, was released from a prison in northern Nevada early Sunday after serving 9 years of a 33 year sentence for armed robbery.
The geriatric felon arrived at his new home the same night that Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, 64, shot and killed 59 people and injured 527 others at a country music concert on the Vegas Strip.
On Monday, Simpson entertained his eldest daughter, Arnelle Simpson, 48, and played golf on his private golfing green next to the 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom property.
The 5,000 square-foot home, which belongs to a friend, is a far cry from Simpson’s former residence, a 125 square-foot cell at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, NV.
In paparazzi photos, Simpson, dressed in a white golf shirt and blue shorts with white orthopedic sneakers, played golf before Arnelle arrived with a carload of groceries and household items.
Arnelle, right, testified at her father’s parole board hearing in July. Simpson’s youngest daughter Sydney, 31, and sons Justin, 29, and Jason, 47, were no shows at the hearing.
There was speculation that Simpson may return to Florida where he lived before he was arrested for armed robbery of 2 sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas hotel in 2007.
But he is banned from leaving Nevada, and the Florida attorney general says she doesn’t want the convicted felon living in her state.
“The specter of his residing in comfort in Florida should not be an option,” said Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi in a statement on Friday. “Our state should not become a country club for this convicted criminal.”

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” Union writes, according to an excerpt obtained by People magazine“For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant – I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

50+ CONFIRMED DEAD, 200+ INJURED AT LAS VEGAS CONCERT; Shooter Dead; Police Detain Shooter’s Wife for Questioning

Stephen Paddock

Over 50 people are confirmed dead and 200+ wounded after a retired military veteran opened fire during a music festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
The massacre at the Mandalay Bay is now the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
Harrowing video shows the moment a man opened fire with a high-powered rifle during a rock concert at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Witnesses say the shooter was not at the music festival, and the shots came from an elevated position above the Las Vegas Strip.
Police confirmed the shooter fired an automatic weapon from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino hotel.
All hotels at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip were put on lockdown. Police are confident there was only one shooter.
Gateway Pundit reporter Josh Caplan posted videos of panicked concert goers fleeing the spray of bullets as live rounds ricocheted off the concrete.
SWAT teams rushed to the 32nd floor and used an explosive charge to breach the hotel door before gunning Paddock down. Police detained an Asian woman, later identified as Paddock’s wife, Marilou Danley (pictured inset), as well as located 2 vehicles linked to the couple.
Paddock and his wife lived in a retirement community in Nevada, according to published reports.
The famed Bellagio Hotel was evacuated amid unconfirmed reports that a gunman was seen there carrying a rifle.
An off-duty police officer from Bakersfield, CA was treated with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police cautioned everyone to avoid going down to the Strip. Concerned family members looking for loved ones are asked to call 1-866-535-5654.

Las Vegas strip shooting: More than 20 dead, 100 injured after gunman opens fire near Mandalay Bay casino

PHOTO: Police officers advise people to take cover near the scene of a shooting near the Mandalay Bay resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, in Las Vegas.
More than 20 people were killed and 100 injured when what appears to be a lone gunman opened fire from a perch high up in the the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Sunday night, police said.
The "nonstop gunfire," according to one witness, sent bystanders outside the resort on the Vegas strip ducking for cover and fleeing for their lives. Tourists hid in their hotel rooms and flights headed into the McCarran International Airport were held elsewhere.
Bystanders sprang into action, caring for the wounded and at least one described someone dying in their arms.
Videos filmed by onlookers gave a window into the chaos that ensued, with some thinking that fireworks were going off. The final night of the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival was taking place across the street from Mandalay Bay when the shooting took place and concertgoers were caught off-guard.
In the wake of the shooting, the Las Vegas Police Department said the suspected gunman, was believed to be a local, was on 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay hotel. Police responded to the scene, engaged him and he is now dead. Officials said they did not believe there were any more shooters.

Authorities were looking for a companion of the shooter, Marilou Danley, as well as two vehicles, a Hyundai Tucson and Chrysler Pacifica, both with Nevada plates. At least two police officers were hospitalized.

A Nevada prison official says OJ Simpson, the former football legend and Hollywood star, has been released from a Nevada prison in Lovelock after serving nine years for armed robbery.
Unlike when he walked free after his murder trial in 1995, Simpson faces parole supervision for another five years.
Nevada state prisons spokeswoman Brooke Keast told reporters that Simpson, 70, was released early on Sunday at 12:08am local time to avoid media attention.
She said she did not know who met Simpson upon his release and didn't know where Simpson was immediately headed in his first hours of freedom.
"We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident," Keast added.
Simpson was looking forward to reuniting with his family, eating a steak and some seafood and moving back to Florida, his lawyer said recently.
Simpson also planned to get an iPhone and get reacquainted with technology that was in its infancy when he was sent to prison in 2008.
Simpson told the parole board earlier this year that he wanted to live in Florida, where his daughter Sydney lives. The Florida Department of Corrections said officials had not received a transfer request or required documents.
He also told the court in July he was not interested in media appearances, and had turned down multiple interview offers while in prison. However, given his notoriety and the promise of huge sums from US networks, publishers and magazines, he may well change his mind now he's been released.
Simpson was sent to prison in Nevada for a botched hotel-room heist of sports memorabilia 12 years after he was acquitted of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles.
