Tiger Woods Forced to Fly Commercial for the 1st Time in 10 Years

Tiger Woods booked a flight from Los Angeles International Airport to Dubai on Sunday, to the Omega Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament.

You’re probably asking yourself “Why is this news?”

This is news because Woods, 41, flew commercial for the first time in 10 years on Sunday.

The former #1 golfer in the world routinely flies on private jets all over the world.

But due to the pesky demonstrators protesting President Trump’s travel ban at LAX airport, Woods was forced to change his travel plans and rough it in first class on Emirates Airlines.

According to ESPN, demonstrators blocked Woods’ access to his private jet at a private terminal.

“We were on the other side of the terminal,” Woods told a reporter while practicing at Emirates Golf Club Tuesday. “You could see [the private jet], but we just couldn’t get there.”

First class tickets on Emirates Airlines normally cost from $4,500 to over $26,000 for a round trip ticket to Hong Kong.

Compare those prices to a private jet where well-heeled passengers pay for the plane’s crew plus the jet fuel. A short hop to New York on a private jet will set you back about $16,000.

41 Nigerians deported from the UK arrive Lagos Airport (photos)

A number of Nigerians, including a man who claimed to be gay, were set to be deported from the UK on Tuesday, January 31, due to immigration related offences.

The deportees arrived at the cargo terminal of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja in an unmarked charter plane which touched ground at exactly 7:40 a.m.

 
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Aviation security personnel received the 41 deportees (33 males and 8 females)

Safe to say Drake knows to play the crowd. 

But despite whatever may currently be transpiring between Drake and his new ladylove Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna is still sticking to her usual independent, single girl lifestyle. 

 A source says, "Rihanna is doing her and enjoying every minute of it," adding that instead of getting caught up in her ex's love life, she's focused on what's important.

The insider reveals that Rihanna is not dating anyone, but is spending time with her friends and family. When it comes to professional life, RiRi is working on forwarding the progress of new projects and collaborations. "Her circle is small and has always been," our source shares.

As for that headline-grabbing, phone number-posting feud with Azealia Banks, Rihanna is once again taking the high road. "Rihanna is a grown woman and wouldn't succumb to pettiness," the same insider dishes.

Johnny Depp's money worries blamed on $2m-a-month lifestyle

Johnny Depp's financial troubles are caused by a lavish $2m-a-month lifestyle, say the business managers he is suing for mismanaging his earnings.

They claim he spent more than $75m (£59.6m) on 14 homes and $3m (£2.4m) blasting author Hunter S Thompson's ashes out of a cannon.

The Management Group are countersuing Depp after the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sued them for $25m (£20m).

Depp, they claim, is "fully responsible for any financial turmoil" he faces.

"He has refused to live within his means, despite... repeated warnings about his financial condition," their countersuit claims.

Their legal action, obtained by the Deadline website, also accuses the actor of spending:

• $18m (£14.3m) on an 150 foot (45 metre) yacht
• $4m (£3.2m) on a failed record label
• $3m (£2.4m) to blast Hunter S Thompson's ashes out of a cannon
• $300,000 (£238,600) a month to maintain a staff of 40 people
• $200,000 (£159,000) a month on private planes
• $150,000 (£119,330) a month on round-the-clock security
• $30,000 (£23,800) a month on buying and importing wine

He also needed 12 storage facilities to house his collection of Hollywood memorabilia, they allege.

Last month, Depp claimed The Management Group owed him more than $25m.

His lawsuit also alleges the company failed to file his taxes on time, costing him $5.7m (£4.5m) in penalties.

Depp's latest legal tussle comes in the wake of his divorce to Amber Heard, which was finalised in January after months of wrangling.

The 53-year-old will be seen later this year as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge.
