It's a boy! 'Thrilled' Janet Jackson gives birth to her first child at age 50

Janet Jackson has given birth to her first child.

The That's The Way Love Goes hitmaker and her husband Wissam Al Mana welcomed their son Eissa Al Mana into the world on Tuesday.

'Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,' her representative told People magazine in a statement.

She shared at the time: 'Hey you guys.. It's been awhile.. but I'm still listening.. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I'm doing well.'

Janet confirmed her pregnancy in October but had reportedly been plagued with bad morning sickness.

A source shared: 'Janet is super excited. She's doing great. Janet feels really strong and is just so excited for the baby to come. She feels like this is one of the best things ever to happen to her. She is doing OK and resting until she is due. She is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK ...

'Her support system is extremely strong. She is taking things easy these days and is feeling well but not overdoing it in any capacity of her life. Janet is staying healthy for her and her baby. She's been praying for a child for a very long time. She's already in the process of thinking of baby names.'

And Janet's older brother Jermaine thinks she will be a perfect mother to her son.

Speaking before the birth, he shared: 'She'll be a great mother because she is very tough, very strict. But I tell her, 'If you need any parenting skills or baby skills, let me know because I'm the best diaper changer there is on this planet, still to this day.''

The adorable snap featuring her 39-year-old rapper hubby was shared with the simple caption: 'family.' 

 The foursome could be seen all wearing white as they posed together on a wooden deck.

Perhaps the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was thinking of returning with a completely new social media persona as she temporarily changed her Twitter name to  simply 'Kim' before reverting it back to Kim Kardashian West.

Kim has not posted since she was robbed inside her room at the No Address Hotel in Paris back in early October. 

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was robbed of over $8.5 million worth of jewelry by gunpoint; she was gagged, handcuffed and held at gunpoint.

Kanye West brought his entire family to visit the grave of his beloved mother Donda.

The 39-year-old rapper was spotted arriving back in Los Angeles with wife Kim Kardashian and their two children on Monday night.

No doubt it was an emotional New Year's trip for the family as they returned from Oklahoma City.

It was also the first time Kanye had taken 36-year-old wife Kim along with North and Saint to visit the site according to a Tuesday report from TMZ. 

They are also said to have spent time meeting up with other members of the West Family.

Kanye has endured tough times in recent months coming off the heels of his wife's armed robbery in Paris and a breakdown and sources for the gossip site claim that the family trip was very important to him.

The reality star carried one-year-old son Saint West as they exited the private jet.

The Famous rapper was very close to his mother, Donda, who died on November 10, 2007 after a cosmetic procedure.

As she was born in Oklahoma City, that is ultimately where she was laid to rest. 

As Kanye suffered a mental breakdown back in November, the anniversary of his mother's death was said to be a contributing factor as it has always been a hard time for him.

A source told the gossip website, "[Casper] may be absent from JLo's life right now but Drake feels like at any moment, he can show up in the night, and his relationship with JLo could potentially be a wrap."

Lopez and Smart dated on and off for several years before calling it quits in August 2016. The insider added that the Hotline Bling singer knows that he cannot compete with what Jennifer had with Casper. The source continued, "Casper knows JLo's buttons. He knows her body. He knows her heart. He knows every inch of her and that makes Drake nervous. Plus, the two of them have this weird on again, off again love connection and Drake knows he can't compete."

The source noted that Drake would never tell Lopez about how he felt about Smart because he does not want to come off as a jealous person, "but in the back of his mind, he knows Casper the ghost is still hovering over JLo's head and lingering in her heart",

The One Dance rapper and the Shades Of Blue actress recently sparked dating rumours after the latter posted an Instagram photo of them cuddling on a sofa. Previously, People magazine had reported that Lopez was "smitten" by Drake.

A source had told the magazine, "Jen [Jennifer Lopez] is looking forward with excitement to the new year. She keeps hanging out with Drake, and he has visited her house. She has nothing but nice things to say about Drake.

"They definitely had a flirty vibe going on and were very intimate," a source told People. "Jordan was extremely attentive towards her and treated her like his girlfriend."

An eyewitness also told E! Online that when 24-year-old Clarkson walked up to Jenner, her "face lit up".

"You could see that they're really into each other and they certainly weren't hiding it," the source said. "They were very touchy-feely!"

Jenner had also celebrated her 21st birthday with a "romantic lunch" with Clarkson in November.

Hairdresser Melanie, 55, is expected to receive an estimated £50 million from her late brother’s estate, after he tragically passed away on Christmas Day.

According to reports, Michael’s other sister Yioda, 57, has also been named in his will, as have his godchildren.

A source told The Sun: “George was very close to his sisters, and the understanding is that they’re going to inherit most of his wealth, particularly Melanie who he was incredibly close to.

“She was there at many of the big milestones in his life, and was there by his side until the very end.”

Melanie cut her brother’s hair throughout his career and joined him on tour of China in the late 1980s.

The superstar’s will is also set to name his godchildren Roman and Harley Moon Kemp, the children of former Spandau Ballet’s star Martin Kemp.

Geri Horner’s daughter Bluebell, whose godfather is Michael’s ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss, is also expected to be recognised, as is his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz.
