DEMOCRATS VOTE TO END GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

The Democrats caved to pressure and, at this moment, they are taking a vote on the Senate floor to end the embarrassing government shutdown. The Democrats refused to approve President Donald Trump’s budget on Friday, leading to a government shutdown at midnight Friday.

A government shutdown costs taxpayers $6 billion a week.

On Monday, the Senate reached the 60 votes necessary to end the shutdown that was orchestrated by New York Senator Chuck Schumer, who tied Friday’s vote to the DACA, aka Dreamer amnesty.

Schumer and the Democrats argued for special favors for illegal immigrants, and they didn’t care if Americans went without Jobs or paychecks.

“Never before in American history has a major political party put the interests of lawbreaking foreign nationals ahead of the interests of law abiding Americans,” writes Thehill.com.

The Democrats heard from their angry constituents who reminded them that they would speak at the polls during the midterm elections. Schumer was singled out for criticism for his anti-American stance.

“Democrats have shut down our government in the interests of their far left base. They don’t want to do it but are powerless!,”President Donald Trump tweeted on Monday morning.

Trump added: “End the Democrats Obstruction!”

The president echoed Americans who are tired of Schumer and the Democrats throwing tantrums over their candidate losing the election in 2016.

Kim and Kanye West Name Their Daughter “Chicago West”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided on the perfect name for their 3rd child — Chicago West. Chicago was born on Jan. 15 at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Kim revealed the baby’s name on Twitter.com on Friday.

The couple celebrated the arrival of their 3rd child via a surrogate, who was paid just $68,000 for her services. She claims the couple turned down a $5 million offer for the rights to the newborn’s pictures.

Kim, 37, took time out of her mommy duties to remind her young IG followers of the difference between a surrogate and a “gestational carrier”, which is a woman who carries another woman’s fertilized egg to term. Most of us know that a surrogate is an umbrella term to mean any substitute parent who carries a fertilized egg.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Welcome Their Third Child

Power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child — a daughter — via a surrogate on Monday. Kim announced the happy news on her social media app on Tuesday.

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”

Kim’s doctors warned her not to have any more children are she experienced Eclampsia complications while carrying son Saint West.

The newborn girl, whose name has yet to be revealed, was born in the early hours of Monday, Jan. 15. She joins Kim and Kanye’s four-year-old daughter North West, and two-year-old son Saint.

The arrival of the couple’s third kid comes as Kim’s sister Khloeprepares to welcome her first baby with her basketball star boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. Youngest sister Kylie Jenner is also rumored to be pregnant with rapper Travis Scott‘s child.

Paparazzi snapped photos of Kylie wearing an oversized green coat in a convenience store on Monday. The photos were timed perfectly to silence the rumors that she was carrying sister Kim’s unborn daughter.

Rumor mongers now believe Kylie is carrying sister Khloe’s child.

Men appear in court accused of murdering model Harry Uzoka

Two men have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 25-year-old model Harry Uzoka.

George Koh, 24, and Jonathan Okigbo, 23, appeared in court on Tuesday accused of murdering Mr Uzoka, who was found injured in Shepherd's Bush, west London, just before 4pm on Thursday.

Police believe the model was attacked outside a block of flats in Ollgar Close before staggering to Old Oak Road.

Emergency services rushed to the area but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 5pm.

Mr Uzoka's next of kin has been informed but a formal identification has not yet taken place.

Koh, of York Way, Camden - who is also charged with the possession of an offensive weapon - and Okigbo, of Trevithick House, Kentish Town, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

They spoke only to confirm their names, dates of birth and addresses. The men are now due to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.

False Alert of Missile Attack Sparks Panic in Hawaii: ‘We Thought It Was the Real Thing’

It was a beautiful morning on the Big Island of Hawaii as Kevin and Pamela Spitze drove to an art show in Hilo when the alert suddenly came on Kevin’s smartphone screen:

“BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”

The Spitzes, who recently moved from Los Angeles to Hawaii’s Big Island, said they were already living on edge in paradise because of all the recent inflammatory bluster between the United States and North Korea over nuclear weapons and threats of attack.

“We have such a barrage of negative stuff that has been happening that our senses have been heightened,” said Pamela Spitze, 64, a retired community college training program staffer. “We thought it was the real thing. We are very concerned.”

Harry Uzoka found dead

A 25-year-old stabbed to death in West London in what has been described as a "robbery gone wrong" has been named as Harry Uzoka.

Sources close to the family have confirmed that Uzoka was the victim. The Met Police is yet to formally confirm the identity of the victim. Uzoka worked as a model for Premier Model Management.

Uzoka suffered a knife wound to his chest and reportedly staggered through an estate before collapsing on the pavement in Old Oak Road, East Acton.

The incident unfolded shortly before 4pm on Thursday afternoon (11 January) and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

"This is another tragic murder with a young male victim who has met a violent death," said Met Police Detective Inspector Beverley Kofi.

YouTube Cuts Ties with Disgraced Vlogger Logan Paul

After a week of closed door meetings, YouTube has announced they are cutting ties with their cash cow Logan Paul.

The video-sharing giant made the decision after Logan, 22, posted a video of a dead man hanging from a tree in Japan’s notorious “Suicide Forest”.

YouTube announced the popular vlogger is no longer a premiere publisher in the Google Preferred ads program, and none of his exclusive films will be offered on the video platform’s subscription-based YouTube Red service.

Logan will still be allowed to post videos on YouTube and monetize his videos under the standard revenue share of about $2,000 per every 1 million views. He will no longer bring in the big ad dollars that he enjoyed as a preferred YT vlogger.

Logan earned $12 million in YouTube revenue and endorsements in 2016.
